You will play a crucial role in maturing the Governance Framework at GDIT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Proven experience implementing and managing governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (ie. CMMC, ISO, or NIST)
  • US Person
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align governance efforts with business goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in tools and platforms related to cyber governance and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of federal regulatory and compliance requirements across agencies.
  • Ability to assess cybersecurity risks and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide and grow a team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with business units, senior executives, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience w/ government contracting or federal environment preferred
  • Experience w/ NIST 800-171, NIST 800-053 preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead/Manage/Support Cyber and IT functions in support of the Governance Framework
  • Collaborate with all core GDIT corporate functions
  • Drive risk and compliance outcomes for the GDIT enterprise network
  • Utilize deep understanding of compliance frameworks and risk management to ensure organizational accountability
