About The Position
The Cyber Intelligence Technical Specialist I is a staff position accountable for ensuring continuity of computer system services for system users by providing real-time device monitoring and maintenance. This role operates on our night-shift - 11pm-8am.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of desktop operating systems, various software applications, and PC/Server/Network hardware.
- Basic understanding of principles and theories of network systems and management.
- Basic understanding of Internet technologies and products.
- At least one year of technical work experience or equivalent education/certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of technical work experience.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., A+, Network+ and Security+).
Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution performing question/problem diagnosis in a network operating center environment.
- Monitor real-time device status, circuit status, and events – responding as necessary.
- Communicate to clients any issues or down tests.
- Address spam filtering and web content filtering requests.
- Create, filter, and close tickets.
- Communicate directly and persistently with various service vendors to hold them accountable for adherence to service levels.
- Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly professional manner and assist senior technicians as needed.
- Follow defined procedures and policies to resolve recurring tasks.
- Escalate or involve senior technicians on more complex problems.
- Perform related work as required.
