About The Position

This role provides cybersecurity administration, cyber assurance management/documentation, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) assistance to the Command’s Chief Information Security Officer. The objective is to aid in the oversight of AFSOC-managed information systems that support Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) in accordance with IC Directive 503. Key duties include assisting with the Command’s Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Program, incident response, and monitoring, scanning, vulnerability reporting, and remediation efforts on the Command’s ISR platforms, networks, and security postures. The employee will ensure Automated Information Systems (AIS) operations and administration are conducted in accordance with Public Laws, Executive Orders, and policies of various national-level agencies. Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills are required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years hands-on cyber and information assurance experience out of the last 12 years.
  • Fully comprehend the duties of a Cyber/Information Assurance Security Advisor.
  • DODM 8140 IAM Level II certified.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 8 years of additional experience supporting Air Force and Special Operations Cyber and Information Assurance programs.
  • Additional years of general experience in the fields of Cyber and Information Assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide cybersecurity administration.
