Requirements

  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Technical designations such as GICSP, CISSP, CRISC, CEH, CGEIT, ITIL, PCI QSA, CIPP/C, TOGAF, SABSA or CISM.
  • Solid mix of business and technical capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex technical data protection issues to senior executives within the context of their business.
  • Familiar with security and privacy frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership qualities when working in a team and the ability to be recognized as the subject matter specialist in data protection when our client requires.
  • Ability to identify Cybersecurity and Privacy opportunities with clients and propose solutions that meet the clients’ needs.
  • Clear, articulate and confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and report writing skills; analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to develop and manage mid-level relationships; strong facilitation and delivery skills.
  • The ability to work on a number of projects, meet deadlines, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Project delivery, as required by the scope of specific client engagements, which includes Assessment/Strategy through to the Design, Implementation and Optimization of data protection solutions and products.
  • Engagement management, including project planning, budget management, and resource management.
  • Practice development, including work on delivery methodology, training, and sales and marketing materials.
  • Personal professional development as a Cybersecurity and Privacy subject-matter specialist, including continuous vendor and industry training, attending conferences, specific products and solutions, self-study.
  • Multi-tasking on multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working with other Cybersecurity & Privacy teams on different projects as required.
  • Coach and train new and/or more junior team members to become an integral part of the Cybersecurity & Privacy Consulting practice and PwC family.
