About The Position

CACI is seeking a Junior Cyber Engineer to join their team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This role involves tackling complex, multi-disciplinary problems across cybersecurity, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. The position offers opportunities to learn new topics and leverage existing skills while working hands-on with state-of-the-art electronics. The Junior Cyber Engineer will perform basic investigation, evaluation, and application of techniques to support the team's work on new technologies.

Requirements

Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
BS in a related discipline and 2-4 years of directly related experience.
Experience working in and with a Linux OS environment.
Basic knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic systems.
Familiarity with a coding/programming language such as Python, Java, or C.
Experience with command line interfaces such as the Linux terminal.
Understanding of networking topics such as IP addressing and subnetting as well as common protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP, FTP, etc.) and technologies (ethernet, Wi-Fi, etc.).
Understanding of interfaces such as serial, USB, and ethernet.

Nice To Haves

Experience with penetration testing or threat hunting and related tools.
Knowledge of file systems and file system structure.
Familiarity with Android OS and mobile device debugging techniques.
Experience with benchtop equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal/power analyzers, and multimeters.
Experience with SDRs (HackRF, Ettus, etc.) and GNURadio.
Soldering experience.
Experience with unmanned systems such as UAS, UGV, and USV.
