About The Position

The Cyber Engineer – Compliance is responsible for implementing, sustaining, and validating cybersecurity controls to ensure systems, networks, operational technology (OT), and third-party integrations meet regulatory, contractual, and enterprise compliance requirements. Key deliverables for this role include implementing and sustaining security controls aligned with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, DFARS, NIST SP 800-53 (as applicable), and NIST SP 800-82 (OT environments). This role involves translating regulatory requirements into enforceable technical controls and ensuring enterprise policy alignment across IT, OT, and third-party environments. Success in this role is defined by ATO Submissions with completed artifacts.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and sustain security controls aligned with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, DFARS, NIST SP 800-53 (as applicable), NIST SP 800-82 (OT environments).
  • Translate regulatory requirements into enforceable technical controls.
  • Ensure enterprise policy alignment across IT, OT, and third-party environments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all equipment assets in accordance with iRAMP requirements.
  • Provide Cybersecurity compliance guidance to engineering for production and procurement of TE.
  • Install software packages/updates to enhance operations and testing of production hardware.
  • Troubleshoot production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity.
  • Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE to controlled networks or enterprises.
