Requirements
- Master's degree + minimum 6 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or equivalent relevant experience + minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire with the ability to obtain a Polygraph within a reasonable amount of time.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Cyber Defense experience and leadership in IT service and operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Help Desk expertise with a focus on customer service and efficiency.
- IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, or SSCP).
- Detail-oriented approach to maintaining audit and security systems.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Security Operations Centers, incident management, and threat hunting.
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile methods and tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Deep understanding of IT systems, Linux, and collaboration across IT disciplines.
- Innovative mindset, leveraging AI for security and operational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team managing network defense, incident response, and compliance for enterprise systems.
- Oversee and enhance core security tasks like SIEM monitoring, access management, and risk compliance.
- Develop and implement team improvements, driving automation and modernization.
- Mentor and guide a high-performing team of Cyber Defense Analysts.
- Collaborate with leadership and government officials to achieve critical mission goals.
