About The Position

As a cyber current operations mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. We’re looking for an experienced cyber mission specialist like you to apply your knowledge in automating pipelines, applying machine learning, and integrating artificial intelligence to bolster our nation’s defensive cybersecurity posture. In this role, you’ll be counted on to understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will leverage cyberspace operations systems to automated data pipelines, use AI and ML workload analysis, develop mission-to-skill matching algorithms, and anomaly detection to inform senior leadership, enhance commander situational awareness, and maximize cyber protection team effectiveness. This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership and commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience applying machine learning (ML) based risk scoring and readiness analytics to evaluate CPT mission plans, generating structured decision inputs for HHQ and Group leadership
  • 2+ years of experience applying ML entity resolution to maintain a continuously updated master mission portfolio, flagging duplicative or conflicting taskings
  • 1 year of experience automating deconfliction engines to identify operational overlaps across combat commands and mission partners
  • 1 year of experience developing and deploying predictive analytics and multi-criteria decision models to enhance mission prioritization based on strategic alignment, urgency, resource availability, and readiness impacts
  • Experience applying anomaly detection to flag reportable events
  • Experience applying NLP and clustering algorithms to extract findings from Joint Cyber Operations reports
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIRs)
  • Experience building and maintaining a dynamic Common Tactical Picture (CTP) using automated data aggregation from mission systems, intelligence feeds, and partner networks
  • Experience routing CPT intelligence requests through automated tasking systems that prioritize urgency and match requirements to the correct intelligence entity
