About The Position

Phoenix Cyber is seeking a Cyber Certification and Accreditation Analyst to support a government client. This role involves providing support, analysis, and research for complex problems and processes related to cybersecurity. The analyst will serve as a technical expert on project teams, offering technical direction and interpretation. Responsibilities include applying advanced technical principles, contributing to new concepts, and guiding the development of technological ideas into final products. The role also requires providing IT services across various technical areas such as Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications, and Network Systems Management, or specific functional areas like finance, logistics, and operations research.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of relevant C&A experience.
  • Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience.
  • Experience in assessing security controls and conducting authorization reviews for large, complex organizations.
  • Experience working on various operating systems and additional programming languages.
  • Experience in at least four projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database.
  • Relevant certification meeting DOD IAM level III.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • DOD Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support, analysis, and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter.
  • Serve as a technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.
  • Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.
  • Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into a final product.
  • Provide IT services in multiple technical areas (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications, and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, and operations research).
