About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or adjacent field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (Systems, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), with graduation by August 31, 2027.
Strong academic track record (3.2+ cumulative GPA) from a 4-year accredited institution.
U.S. citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
Ability to travel 25-50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location.

Nice To Haves

Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., threats and security frameworks); strong networking fundamentals and deep understanding of how operating systems work
Technical aptitude with interest in learning cyber tools, security automation, and emerging technologies
Clear communicator who can translate technical details into business‑friendly language
Familiarity with using AI tools to research and solve business and technology challenges

Responsibilities

Support cybersecurity assessments aligned to federal frameworks such as NIST 800‑series, FISMA, and OMB guidance
Conduct vulnerability scanning, analysis, and POA&M updates using industry tools and AI-enabled GRC platforms
Assist in drafting and maintaining cybersecurity documentation (SSPs, SOPs, policies, baselines)
Analyze threats, risks, and system weaknesses to inform remediation activities
Participate in stakeholder engagement, communications, and change‑management efforts supporting cyber initiatives
