Requirements

  • Experience analyzing cybersecurity risks, participating in hands-on academic lab environments, or completing cybersecurity internships
  • Knowledge of threat monitoring technology, SIEM concepts, and basic networking principles such as TCP/IP, subnets, and standard ports
  • Ability to research routine technical issues, learn new security tools under direct supervision, and document findings clearly
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Science

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scripting or querying languages such as Python, Bash, or SQL used to process or analyze security logs
  • Knowledge of common security frameworks such as the MITRE ATT&CK framework or NIST Special Publications
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in team-based environments to escalate and resolve routine technical issues
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or Network+ Certification
