About The Position

System Pavers is seeking a CX Team Lead to join their growing technology organization. This role is a player-coach position, requiring both technical leadership and hands-on coding. The ideal candidate will lead a team of four engineers focused on customer experience, marketing automation, sales enablement, and emerging AI technology. The company has recently updated its technology stack with Dynamics 365 CE and FO, and Azure as its cloud backbone, and is now in a scaling phase. This role offers the opportunity to design, build, and deliver high-quality software while mentoring and elevating the engineers on the team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience
  • 4+ years leading or mentoring a development team
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms or CRM-adjacent integrations
  • Proven track record integrating or evaluating AI/ML tools in a production environment
  • Experience working in Azure (.NET ecosystem preferred)
  • Strong understanding of API design and third-party integration patterns
  • Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum environment with ADO or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting to business stakeholders and writing technical specifications

Nice To Haves

  • Background in construction, home improvement, or field service technology
  • Familiarity with Domo or similar BI platforms for measuring solution impact

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers focused on the CX workstream.
  • Translate approved solution designs into high-quality, on-time builds across Marketing, Sales, and Integration.
  • Contribute code, conduct code reviews, and maintain high standards for AI-assisted development.
  • Drive adoption of AI developer tools across the team, aiming for ≥80% AI-assisted code integration.
  • Lead the build and delivery of Marketing automation, Sales enablement, and third-party integration solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging CX technologies, including AI platforms, to improve the customer journey.
  • Ensure all solutions tie to measurable business outcomes such as demand generation, conversion rate, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the Solutions Architect to receive clear solution designs and translate them into buildable implementations.
  • Collaborate daily with the Program Manager on sprint planning, velocity, and blocker resolution, escalating issues within 48 hours.
  • Partner with the BA / Project Manager to ensure PBIs are sprint-ready before planning.
  • Participate actively in QA and testing, taking responsibility for test execution and bug resolution.
  • Report velocity trends to the Program Manager weekly, aiming for ≥30% lift vs. Q1 2026 baseline by Q4.
