About The Position

This individual will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects with a focus on learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies. The role involves assisting with general construction tasks such as generating and tracking RFIs, monitoring shop drawings, verifying dimensions, coordinating deliveries, and learning safety policies and site logistics. It also includes participating in the permit inspection process and updating plans. Additionally, the role supports the commissioning process by assisting the Cx Manager in creating and managing a commissioning schedule, resolving issues, managing equipment deliveries, developing knowledge of critical MEP infrastructure for data center buildings, assisting with quality and commissioning walkthroughs, and managing commissioning documentation.

Nice To Haves

Prior Commissioning experience
General knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.
Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
Experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore).
Design-build commercial construction experience.

Responsibilities

Generate Requests For Information (RFIs) and track approvals.
Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination.
Field verify dimensions to back check the shop drawing approval process.
Assist in the coordination and tracking of Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries.
Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures.
Gain an understanding for overall site logistics.
Participate in and gain an understanding of the city and jurisdictional permit inspection process.
Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs.
Accompany Ryan personnel (and Owner) on Punchlist inspections, record Punchlist items and monitor completion of Punchlist work.
Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule.
Assist Cx Manager in creating and managing a detailed commissioning schedule.
Assist Cx Manager in resolving critical commissioning issues.
Manage critical equipment deliveries to the project site.
Learn and develop knowledge of critical MEP infrastructure for data center buildings.
Assist the field team in quality and commissioning walkthroughs or inspections.
Manage commissioning documentation control through communication with client, trade partners, and internal project team.
