The CWMD Computer Programming SME provides advanced technical expertise in the development, operation, maintenance, enhancement, and integration of Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) systems and software solutions. This position directly supports mission-critical hazard prediction, sortie generation, operational planning, and risk management capabilities associated with chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) environments. The SME develops and sustains modeling applications, simulation platforms, analytical tools, and visualization products supporting operational decision-making, mission planning, threat analysis, and real-time situational awareness. The position requires extensive expertise in software engineering, scientific programming, simulation technologies, operational analysis, and secure systems integration within DoD and national security environments. The individual serves as a senior technical authority supporting current and future CWMD M&S products including systems such as VLSTRACK, HPAC, JEM, and related hazard prediction and sortie generation platforms.
