About The Position

The Cooperative Work Experience (CWE) Student supports the host organization by applying classroom knowledge in a real-world work setting. Under supervision, the student assists with a variety of tasks and projects that align with their educational goals and career interests. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience, promote professional development, and enhance practical skills relevant to the student's field of study.

Requirements

• Current student enrolled in a Cooperative Work Experience program through Watford City High School.
• Interest in gaining experience related to the student’s field of study.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
• Dependable, responsible, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor or mentor.
• Observe and participate in work processes to gain industry-specific knowledge and skills.
• Apply classroom learning to real-world situations to reinforce academic concepts.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Demonstrate professional behavior, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to workplace policies and procedures.
• Complete any required documentation or evaluations related to the cooperative work experience program.
