About The Position

The ONEOK Cooperative Work Experience (CWE) program provides high school seniors with a unique, hands-on opportunity to explore careers in the natural gas industry. Through structured role shadowing, safety-focused training, and exposure to multiple technical and professional disciplines, students gain a high-level understanding of Natural Gas Processing and the critical operations that support a midstream energy company. Participants will rotate through a variety of departments—such as Safety, Operations, Information Technology, Engineering, Environmental, Supply Chain, and more—spending approximately 2–3 weeks in each area. This rotation may be adjusted based on student interests to allow more time in their area(s) of interest. This program equips students with real-world skills, practical industry knowledge, and a strong foundation for future careers.
