About The Position

ICE Western Sales is a leader in manufacturing highly complex Custom HVAC units for global commercial and industrial markets. Since 1991, the company has grown into a rapidly growing organization with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. They are seeking experienced Welders/Fabricators to join their morning shift team. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

Valid CWB Flat Fluxcore ticket (minimum).
Fitting experience and blueprint reading ability.
Must be registered or willing to register with the Alberta Apprenticeship Board.
Knowledge of raw materials, production, and QC inspection process.
Strong judgment, focus, and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

GMAW experience.
Red Seal Journeyman.
WHMIS and OSSA training.

Responsibilities

Build skids/base frames and structural frames of all sizes.
Perform Fluxcore (FCAW) welding (valid CWB Flat Fluxcore ticket required).
Fit and weld according to blueprint drawings.
Use equipment such as grinders, torches, chop saws, drill presses, and hand tools.
Conduct stainless steel MIG wire welding for heat exchangers.
Perform aluminum and stainless steel sheet metal welding.
Participate in all safety meetings and follow company safety protocols.
Maintain high-quality, consistent welds (primarily in flat position).
