CVU RN Part Time Nights
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Unit. This is a part-time, night position with a 7p-7a schedule and every third weekend rotation. The unit includes a 15-bed observation unit (CVI) for pre- and post-cardiac interventions and atypical chest pain patients, and a 12-bed unit (CVU) for intermediate care and post-operative cardiac surgery patients. RNs manage the patient's entire journey from intervention to discharge. New graduate nurses are welcome to apply. The Cardiac Nurse assesses patient needs, implements interventions, and maintains a nursing care plan. Strong critical thinking skills are essential for providing technical care and guiding patients and families through their cardiac journey.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky RN License
- BCLS Required
- ACLS Required
