About The Position
This role requires advanced knowledge of cardiovascular surgery, close collaboration with surgeons and nurses, and a strong focus on patient safety and surgical efficiency by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and managing specialized instruments and equipment.
Requirements
- 1.5 years’ experience required.
- Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions
- Trauma Level II Experience Required
- Travel Experience Required
- Certificates Required: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT
- Must have experience working with Adults through Geriatrics.
- Experience in CVOR and Trauma work settings required.
- Experience with Cardiac and Vascular surgery cases.
- Fire Safety, Aseptic Technique, Laser Safety, Sharp Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Sterilization/Disinfection, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure
Nice To Haves
- EPIC Charting System Experience preferred
- Community Hospital Experience Preferred
- Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred
- Trauma Level I Experience Preferred
- Experience working with the following surgery case types: Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, General, Gyn, Neuro, Ortho, Plastics, and Urology.
- Experience with organ donation.
