About The Position

This is a position for a Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) with required scrub experience. First-time travelers and locals are accepted. The role involves evening shifts, working 40 hours per week, with a schedule consisting of two (2) 8-hour shifts and two (2) 12-hour shifts. Shifts can occur anytime between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., depending on staffing needs. Weekend rotation and call duties are part of the contract and are distributed equitably among staff members.

Requirements

• Scrub experience required
• 5+ years total CST experience
• 2+ years in cardiac & vascular
• 1 year CVOR experience
• 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility
• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
• BLS certification
• Endovascular skills
• General OR experience
• Vascular experience
• Experience with CVOR procedures (CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc.)
• Proficiency in aseptic technique
• Experience with crash cart, scrub & circulate
• Experience with equipment documentation

Responsibilities
