About The Position
CVOR RN providing 1:1 care for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures including CABG, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, MAZE procedures, mitral valve replacement, aortic aneurysm repairs, carotid endarterectomy, carotid stenting, fem-pop bypass grafts, AV fistula repairs, thoracotomy, VATS, and heart transplant procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Cardiovascular and Thoracic (CVOR) procedures
- Ability to provide 1:1 care
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Willingness to work weekend rotations
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 care for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
- Assist with procedures such as CABG, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, MAZE procedures, mitral valve replacement, aortic aneurysm repairs, carotid endarterectomy, carotid stenting, fem-pop bypass grafts, AV fistula repairs, thoracotomy, VATS, and heart transplant procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation (typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks).
- Fulfill weekend rotation requirements.
