About The Position

LocumTenens.com, a leading healthcare staffing company since 1995, is seeking a CVO Specialist. This role is crucial in supporting clients, facilities, boards, groups, and clinicians by validating and reviewing professional qualifications to ensure compliance with NCQA, LT standards, and client business models. The CVO Specialist will manage initial and renewal processes for credentialing, privileging, reinstatement, and licensing services (e.g., DEA, CSR). This position involves processing files for medical authorities and licensing boards to determine clinician privileges and licensing for specific clinical activities at facilities. The company is a Jackson Healthcare company and is the third largest healthcare staffing company in the U.S.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of related experience preferred
  • Ability to adhere to and exhibit the Company Values at all times
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Working knowledge of PDF editing software
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels - internally and externally
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills - both oral and written
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Processes privileging or licensing files according to the client’s and/or board’s standards
  • Performs all documentation tasks on a privileging or licensing file
  • Updates database for every file with the most current information
  • Acts as a liaison between the client, clinician, and/or appropriate state board
  • Resolves or appropriately escalates inquiries and concerns
  • Proactively communicates information and updates to Production, CVO partners, and Management
  • Partners with the facility or group to resolve outstanding items to complete the file process
  • May work on special projects or other duties as assigned
