About The Position
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in CVICU and the ability to cover CCU. Join our team at an independent community hospital with two 24/7 Cath Labs and contribute to the health and recovery of community members. Our facility is committed to keeping residents close to home during their treatment, located conveniently between Denver and Grand Junction along the I-70 corridor. Newly remodeled studio and small 1-bedroom apartments are available half a block from the hospital. These apartments are offered fully furnished, include Wi-Fi and utilities, and are equipped with on-site laundry facilities.
Requirements
- Strong CVICU skills
- Day 0 CVICU experience required
- Active RN license in good standing in the state of Colorado
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- A minimum of 3 years of critical care nursing experience is required
- Mandatory flu vaccination from October 1st through April; no declinations accepted
Responsibilities
- Cover CCU
- Participate in call rotation and take one call shift per two-week period, if requested due to staffing needs
- Provide nursing care in a CVICU setting
- Provide nursing care in a CCU setting
- Holiday coverage
