About The Position
Seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill cardiovascular patients in a high-acuity intensive care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills and experience managing complex cardiac and post-operative cardiovascular patients.
Requirements
- Active RN License required
- ACLS Certification required
- BLS Certification required
- NIHSS Certification required
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required
- Cardiovascular Intensive Care
- Post-Operative Cardiac Surgery Care
- Hemodynamic Monitoring
- Critical Care Drips and Medications
- Ventilator Management
- Rapid Assessment and Intervention
- Multidisciplinary Critical Care Collaboration
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic and cardiac data
- Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage advanced life support equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond to emergent situations and provide critical interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to patient safety standards
