About The Position
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. It is a Full Time Days position. The CV Tech performs highly specialized hemodynamic monitoring procedures and assists the physician during all procedures. The role works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. The employee will complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- AHA BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Formal cardiovascular technology training.
- 1 year health care or cardiac cath lab experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature.
- Assists the physician during all procedures.
- Assists nursing personnel with emergency procedures.
- Assumes responsibility for maintenance and quality control of equipment.
- Cleans and packages instruments/supplies for sterilization.
- Assumes role of monitor tech as needed.
