About The Position

The CV Tech performs highly specialized hemodynamic monitoring procedures and assists the physician during all procedures. This role works with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Additionally, the CV Tech is responsible for training Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel. The position requires completing established competencies within the designated introductory period and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational program in health science, or equivalent education.
• 2 years of interventional Cath Lab or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.

Nice To Haves

• Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT).
