About The Position

We are looking for a Cardiovascular Sonographer that is Duel Certified but have the capability to offer training to become certified in the secondary area if only certified in one area at the time of hire. Performs both cardiac and vascular ultrasound testing to include 2D echo/Doppler, dobutamine stress, exercise stress, and multiple vascular procedures including carotids, arterials, venous duplex, aorta, and renal artery duplex, as well as other related duties assigned by manager, supervisor or lead sonographer. Qualified individual is able to provide cardiac and vascular ultrasound to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population and provide all necessary documentation and preliminary interpretation of results.

Requirements

• Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
• Must be credentialed through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI) in both modalities at time of hire Upon Hire Required
• Echocardiography: Upon Hire Required and RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Required or RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Required
• Vascular Testing: Upon Hire Required RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Vascular Technologist (RVT) through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Required or RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) through the Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI) Required or (VS) or Vascular Technology - Vascular Sonography Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography [RT(VS)] Required

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience in each modality in a hospital inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory setting Preferred

Responsibilities
