About The Position

Responsible for coordinating patient flow and the delivery of patient care for patients in the CV area during his/her shift, providing clinical care, as needed. Serves as a liaison for patients, visitors, families, physicians, other hospital departments, and external ancillary services. Communicates patient care, departmental, and staff issues to the appropriate authority.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in health-related field
  • 2 years in a clinical practice with demonstrated clinical competency in Cath lab or EP lab
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
  • ACLS Upon Hire
  • Current license/certification/registry in the profession in the State of Georgia. Qualifying credentials may be any of the following as appropriate for the area Upon Hire
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Registered Nurse (RN)
  • RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
  • Registered Radiologic Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist (RT-CI)
  • Radiologic Cardiovascular Technologist (RT-CV)
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiologic Technologist (RT-R)
  • RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • NREMT - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians-Basic (Med Tech) National Registered Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (NREMT-P)
  • Echo Sonographer
  • RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Vascular Sonographer (Sonographers may be credentialed through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
  • RCEP - Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification Exercise physiologist
