About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery in Mason City, Iowa. The role involves both clinical coverage and call duties, including nights and 24-hour weekend coverage. The coverage period is ongoing, starting as soon as possible. The facility is a Level 2 trauma center with Cardiothoracic Surgery backup available. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for clinic coverage, night call on weekdays, and 24-hour on-call coverage on weekends. Duties include performing cardiothoracic surgery and EVH procedures, managing an average of 125 CABG cases per year, and collaborating with the trauma facility team.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Iowa (IA) License
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of CT Surgery experience
- Clean Malpractice/Background
- Hospital Privileges Required
Nice To Haves
- Cardiothoracic surgery and EVH experience required.
