About The Position

Responsible for using high-temperature flames (typically oxy-fuel or plasma) to precisely cut, shape, and dismantle metal materials. Operators must identify different metal types (ferrous vs. non-ferrous) and sort them. Understanding of different gases (oxygen, acetylene, propane), torch tip sizes, and how to adjust flame intensity based on metal thickness.
