About The Position

Schedule & Compensation Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (4‑hour evening shift) Weekly Attendance Bonus available for employees who work all scheduled shifts on time Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate the leather or fabric cutting machine efficiently and accurately to cut patterns for sewing. Load rolls of fabric or leather onto the cutting machine. Inspect materials for quality, flaws, or defects before running cutting programs. Accurately cut fabric or leather according to patterns loaded in the cutting system. Follow all production specifications and quality standards. Maintain equipment cleanliness and a safe, organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager. Required Qualifications Ability to read and use a ruler accurately. Strong visual accuracy to inspect materials and patterns. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Experience operating a fabric cutting machine (Gerber Z or similar systems preferred). Ability to read and understand cutting patterns and yardage requirements. Quality‑focused with strong attention to detail. Ability to meet established performance goals in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Positive, team‑oriented attitude with strong reliability. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift (4 hours). Strong English communication skills: Reading Comprehension Speaking Writing Safety Requirements Follow all company safety rules and procedures. Required PPE: Safety glasses Working Conditions Indoor, ventilated furniture manufacturing environment. Concrete flooring. Heated and cooled workspace. Employment Details Temporary, short‑term role created to support production backlog. Employment is at‑will and will end when the project is completed. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
