About The Position

Responsible for the operation of robots, cutters, and associated equipment to ensure the timely and quality cutting of blends into blend boxes. This involves setting the robot discharge rate, cutter belt speed, and diverter setups in the plant floor control panel to the most optimum settings for each grade. The operator should be skilled at changing robot and cutter blades, vibrator pads, unchoking diverters, and removing "knots" from all rolls and belts. The operator should also be skilled in routine servicing procedures for cutters and robots.

Requirements

• Capable of performing tasks including but not limited to working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Must be able to read, write and convey ideas.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs with adequate body flexibility
• Compatible with a fast pace work environment

Nice To Haves

• Skilled at changing the robot and cutter blades, vibrator pads, unchoking diverters and removing "knots" from all rolls and belts.
• Skilled at routine servicing procedures for cutters and robots.
