Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating cutting machinery or working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of measurement tools and ability to read technical drawings or specifications.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Operating cutting machinery and accurately measuring hardwood are essential for producing components that meet strict quality standards.
  • Safety awareness is critical to prevent accidents in a manufacturing environment where heavy machinery is used daily.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain hardwood cutting machinery to produce components according to detailed specifications.
  • Measure and mark hardwood materials accurately before cutting to ensure precision and minimize waste.
  • Inspect finished cuts for quality assurance, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document production activities and report any issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
