About The Position

The Cut Up Line Worker is responsible for identifying and sorting various grades of product from the packaging lines and placing them into appropriate packaging that meets quality and product specifications. Employees are also expected to upgrade product that does not meet quality standards through salvaging techniques and then place it into suitable product codes.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (8-10 hrs.) on a concrete/metal grate floor.
• Must be able to use small hand held tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting; and lifting up to 35 lbs. required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sort various grades of product from the packaging lines.
• Place product into appropriate packaging that sufficiently meets quality and product specifications.
• Upgrade product that does not meet quality standards through salvaging techniques.
• Place salvaged product into suitable product codes.
• Rotate into all positions on the cut-up line.
