About The Position

Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry and more. This role involves reviewing sales designs, defining and resolving design questions, assembling accurate cutlists using Cabinet Vision and other tools, and providing support to various departments. The position also requires utilizing CAD programs to support sales and production teams, with a focus on quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Familiarity with computer usage and technology.
Intermediate or above experience with Microsoft Excel.
CAD experience.

Nice To Haves

College training preferred.
Drafting or design experience preferred.
Cabinet vision experience preferred.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Typing of 40 WPM preferred.

Responsibilities

Review sales designs to ensure compliance with company product offerings and installation requirements.
Define and resolve design questions efficiently.
Assemble accurate cutlists identifying all parts and machining requirements using Cabinet Vision & other tools.
Complete cutlist packages and submit them within company standards and efficiency requirements.
Provide support to the Pricing, Production, and Installation Departments.
Comply with all company policies and standards of behavior and performance.
Utilize CAD program to support the sales/production teams.
Develop and implement a personal quality process to ensure all items required by the sales package design are included in the cutlist, including all components, machining, and special orders.
Continuously seek methods for improving daily output and productivity.
Maintain a positive and proactive attitude towards meeting and surpassing customer expectations.
