Customs Specialist
About The Position
Flexport is looking for a Customs Specialist to help build their Customs team. This role involves ensuring the quality of data from clients and suppliers to Flexport's Customs team, entering commercial product information with speed, consistency, and accuracy, and refining processes to optimize data onboarding and delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high attention to detail, value accuracy, and ensure quality control on international shipment documents. Flexport believes global trade can move the human race forward and aims to make global commerce easy by building the Operating System for Global trade, combining advanced technology, data analytics, logistics infrastructure, and supply chain expertise.
Requirements
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
- A selfless mindset willing to work in the nitty gritty of the freight and logistics industry to deliver for our clients
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Next-level attention to detail and follow-through
Nice To Haves
- A BA/BS Degree preferred, but not required
