This is a remote position with an initial 6-week on-site training period in Philadelphia, PA, followed by a fully remote role. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
  • Basic understanding of U.S. customs operations, regulations, and government agencies
  • Strong computer skills and comfort with data entry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve documentation issues
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
  • Must live within commuting distance to Philadelphia, PA facility for initial training.
  • Must be available for potential weekend or holiday coverage based on rotation and business needs.

  • Familiarity with HTS codes or tariff classification

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process customs entries accurately and on time
  • Review and audit commercial documents; identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Apply correct HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) codes for duty assessment
  • Communicate documentation needs with customers and foreign origins
  • Coordinate freight forwarding and delivery with domestic and international carriers
  • Submit customs entries via GBS-CM in a timely manner
  • Scan and upload documentation into internal imaging systems
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and database-driven analyses
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive, clear communication
  • Support weekend or holiday work on a rotational basis, as needed
