The CTS engineer works directly with airline customers and engine overhaul facilities and teams up with their respective disciplines to understand and implement corrective action for engine related in-service events and hardware issues identified during overhaul. They will support MROs to resolve work-stops during teardown and reassembly of engines, and support Airlines to resolve Aircrafts on the Ground (AOGs) and coordinate resolution of service issues. This role will also initiate technical data development of documentation for engine/module piece part inspection and for Engine Manuals (EM) and Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM). The engineer will coordinate with the technical publication organization (MDE) and provide direction for all technical publications’ issues related to their hardware. Additionally, they will interface with Airbus by providing design, operation, maintenance, and customer service data, and coordinate resolution on hardware investigations (CPRs – Customer Part Returns) and Quality Notifications (QNs).
Requirements
- A University Degree Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position. The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.

Responsibilities
