This role is responsible for performing sales and leasing activities to meet community revenue and occupancy goals. This includes greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, preparing move-in packages, and ensuring a smooth resident move-in. The specialist will also inspect apartments to ensure they are move-in ready and coordinate with the maintenance team for any necessary repairs. A key part of the role involves staying informed about market and competitor conditions, developing and executing marketing strategies, and tracking leasing activities and resident data. The specialist must ensure the community and show units meet company standards for presentation and appeal. They will also follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction and execute the lease renewal program. Additionally, the role requires responding quickly and courteously to resident concerns, solving problems, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and Employment laws. The ability to lead and manage team members is also important. The role may involve working in other local communities within the portfolio.
