About The Position

GCG's Custom Engineered Solutions (CES) business unit is currently seeking Customer Support Representatives to support our OEM and Industrial customers and Account Managers. This role manages day-to-day customer orders, coordinates with internal teams on production and delivery, and proactively resolves issues to ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Customer Service, Customer Support, or Sales Support experience; previous experience with distribution or manufacturing preferred but not required
  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other business applications
  • Experience using an ERP system
  • Experience managing high volumes of online orders, ensuring accuracy
  • Experience in processing RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations), including initiating, tracking, and completing return requests
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements in a deadline-driven environment
  • Professional verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with wire, cable, electrical, or electronics manufacturing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer orders, including POs, EDI, and related documentation
  • Support Account Managers and customers with order status, production schedules, delays, and supply chain updates
  • Coordinate order changes, including expedites, pushouts, cancellations, and rescheduling
  • Manage customer complaints and RMAs through resolution
  • Maintain accurate customer records, open-order reports, and communication logs
  • Support contract amendments and special projects
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and other teams to resolve issues and meet customer needs
  • Perform other duties
