About The Position

Liberty Healthcare is seeking a full-time Customer Support Specialist to help people with developmental disabilities receive vital services so they may live their best lives. In this role, you will engage in productive phone conversations with individuals who have developmental disabilities, their families, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include answering questions, addressing concerns, conveying information about available human services, explaining how to apply for services, and detailing the timeframe for receiving services. You will also be responsible for documenting details from phone conversations in a computer system. The position is office-based in Boise, Idaho, offering a collegial and professional environment where you will work alongside a team of caring and compassionate health and human service professionals. Requirements

  • Positive and optimistic attitude
  • Strong work ethic and a genuine desire to help others
  • Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Patience, empathy and great active listening skills
  • Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in scheduling, customer service, call center work, or a healthcare/human service role
  • Bilingual or conversational Spanish speaking skills
  • Professional or personal experience supporting people who have disabilities

Benefits
