About The Position

Under the direction of Customer Service, this role administers the customer service function for Pregis clients, including job planning and administrative duties, in accordance with Pregis policies and procedures. The representative will communicate with internal and external customers about product lines and workflow, including design principles, printing, and converting processes. They will collaborate with stakeholders such as sales representatives, administrative staff, production staff, suppliers, and customers on orders, projects, technical specifications, and meeting deadlines. This role provides outstanding customer service through oral and written communications, maintains existing customer relationships, and works to create and foster new ones. Responsibilities include preparing and processing orders, sample requests, and managing order changes. The representative will set up material numbers for new products, communicate fully with internal and external customers, and follow up promptly on requests, orders, and other tasks. Advising customers on best strategies to achieve their desired outcomes and communicating customer order requirements to the operational value stream in a concise and articulate manner are also key functions. Monitoring jobs in the system for accuracy and sending order confirmations are required. Preparing finished job invoices for billing may also be necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ customer service and client relations experience required.
  • Communicates in a professional manner.
  • Outgoing self-starter who can work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to think quickly and solve problems.
  • Attention to detail is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the printing industry is preferred, as it relates to customer relationships and their requirements.
  • Sales administration experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP systems preferred.
