Customer Success Manager

Blockit AI•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Blockit is a Sequoia-backed AI time agent that learns user preferences to autonomously coordinate meetings. It functions like an executive assistant, responding instantly and never sleeping. Blockit aims to build a massive platform of AI agents that access the world's time, with its network growing stronger as more users link their calendars. The company is seeking a Customer Success Manager to lead activation, adoption, and retention across its customer base. This role requires 3+ years in customer success, account management, or solutions at a software company, with experience building a function being a plus. The Customer Success Manager will work directly with hundreds of contracted accounts, primarily in venture capital, private equity, financial services, professional services, and AI/tech startups. This role involves partnering with an onboarding specialist to run pilots, resolve issues, drive adoption, identify expansion opportunities for the GTM team, and relay customer feedback to the product team. The ideal candidate is technically adept (able to handle SSO or calendar sync issues before escalation), commercially aware (recognizing growth opportunities), and analytical (capable of creating SOPs). They should be comfortable with the fast-paced, zero-to-one building environment of a startup and have a passion for productivity tools. The role focuses on turning customer curiosity into activated, deeply adopted teams and establishing a repeatable process for future growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in customer success, account management, or solutions.
  • Technically curious and unafraid of the stack — you can hold your own with engineers.
  • Comfortable with data and quick to learn.
  • Commercially aware: you’ve read an account, known when it was ready to grow, and made the case with evidence rather than instinct.
  • Exceptional writer — most of this job happens in email and Slack, in front of managing partners and heads of platform at some of the best firms in the world.
  • Organized to a fault, with high agency and no ego about scope.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience standing up a function rather than inheriting one is a plus.
  • Founding or first-CS-hire experience is a strong plus.
  • Bonus: experience with horizontal productivity tools, or a network in venture capital, private equity, or professional services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Enterprise onboarding, pilots, and rollouts end to end — setup, admin training, then adoption team by team: usage reviews with admins and chasing the pockets that haven’t linked calendars.
  • Serve as the primary contact for inbound support and agent-behavior feedback via email and Slack.
  • Handle churn with a real save motion: understand why, offer the right landing spot, and harvest the reason.
  • Build the machine: usage and retention reporting, templates, runbooks, and the QA loop behind our AI support agent.
