About the position
The job overview for this role is that the company is seeking a client-obsessed ML Solutions Engineer to join their Solutions Engineering organization. The engineer will work closely with new customers to onboard them onto the Arize platform, advising on use cases, data integration methods, and ML observability best practices. They will act as a trusted advisor to customers, building relationships with technical stakeholders and serving as the "Voice of the Customer." The engineer should have experience in a customer-facing role, knowledge of cloud computing environments and programming languages, and an understanding of machine learning frameworks and concepts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with new Arize customers as they onboard onto Arize
- Advise customers on Arize use cases, data integration methods, and ML observability and MLOps best practices
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and build relationships with technical stakeholders
- Act as the "Voice of the Customer" by regularly engaging them on status calls, educating on product roadmap and QBRs, managing escalations, and influencing the roadmap in partnership with the Product team
- Interface with the pre-sales engineering team to gather client goals and KPIs for onboarding
- Collaborate with Customer Success Engineers to understand and execute against the overall goals for the onboarding accounts
- Have 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
- Have experience in cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Have experience in a programming language (Python, R, Java, Go, etc.) and SQL
- Have knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Have an understanding of ML/DS concepts, model evaluation strategies and lifecycle, and engineering considerations
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex, technical concepts
- Be a quick and self-learner, undaunted by the technical complexity of production ML deployments and welcome the challenge to learn about them and develop your own POV
- Customer-facing experience is preferred, such as Solutions Architect, Onboarding Specialists, Sales Engineer, or Customer Success Engineer
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in a customer facing role
- Experienced in cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experienced in a programming language (Python, R, Java, Go, etc) and SQL
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn
- Understanding of ML/DS concepts, model evaluation strategies and lifecycle
- Strong communication skills - ability to simplify complex, technical concepts
- Quick and self-learner, undaunted by technical complexity of production ML deployments
- Customer facing experience preferred (Solutions Architect, Onboarding Specialists, Sales Engineer, Customer Success Engineer)
