About The Position

Solve Industrial Motion Group strives to be the trusted source for engineered bearings and power transmission solutions, offering over 100,000 ready-to-ship components and custom solutions. They prioritize innovation, customer service, and continuous improvement. The Customer Solutions Specialist (EDI) reports to the Director of Sales Operations and is responsible for supporting Solve’s customers via Electronic Data Interchange. This role involves offering thoughtful and knowledgeable solutions to satisfy inquiries and troubleshoot product issues. The CSS (EDI) will manage high-volume customer orders efficiently and work in tandem with the sales and technical teams to ensure a seamless sales life cycle for customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ Year of technical training or equivalent industry experience
  • Industrial sales experience
  • Previous customer service experience in a power transmission or bearings industry

Responsibilities

  • Provide best-in-class service by responding to customer’s needs, and effectively communicate the best applicable solution electronically
  • Upon receipt of customer purchase orders, enter and create corresponding sales orders, while advising them on future forecasting of products
  • Work closely with the IT Department to bring in EDI and E-Commerce sales orders
  • Prepare accurate price quotes for customers, including estimates of related shipping charges and expected delivery dates
  • Stay current with product knowledge to be able to accurately advise our customers with the best product options
  • Efficiently respond to customer inquiries, regarding any adjustments, returns, credits or shipment tracking
  • Partner closely with the Regional Sales Manager to gain pertinent customer information to be the most qualified resource for any sales support related needs
  • Communicate and collaborate with other internal departments to collectively identify the best solutions for our customers
  • Set-up client accounts in our internal CRM, and maintain and update all necessary client information
