About The Position

This position is responsible for providing reception and hospitality activities in a variety of areas within Mozingo Lake Recreation Park, including the Visitors Center, Information Booth, and Beach Snack Shack. Primary responsibilities include but not limited to providing excellent customer service as well as food/beverage service, reception, making reservations, money collection, cleaning and inspection duties.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License.
Successfully complete online State of Missouri Alcohol Training (SMART).
High school diploma or G.E.D.; three to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides the highest level of customer service to all guests by responding appropriately to their inquiries and addressing issues in a timely manner.
Performs a public relations role in the park by welcoming new visitors and answering questions about park amenities, park programs, park rules and nearby points of interest.
Marks the appropriate RV sites and shelter houses as reserved prior to a visitors arrival.
Maintains an awareness of all park policies, procedures, practices, and staff contacts assuring for thoroughness and accuracy.
Assumes receptionist duties, greets public and welcomes them to the Park, answers phones, routes calls, and takes messages.
Assists visitors in understand the park rules and provides information to appropriate corresponders if issues arise.
Balances a cash drawer and prepares a deposit at the end of each shift.
Provides light custodial cleaning duties inside the Visitors Center, Information Booth, and Beach Shack.
Makes reservations in the reservation software program for the Mozingo RV campgrounds, cabins, shelter houses, group camp, multipurpose building, and fishing tournaments.
Serves food and beverages to customers.
Performs minor food preparation using standard formulas or following directions.
Assist with stocking, maintaining, and keeping inventory of all things sold within the Visitors Center, Information Booth and Beach Shack.
