PRIMARY PURPOSE Responsible for all aspects of customer service DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Comply with all Plastic Trends Employee Conduct and Work Rules; comply with all policies contained in the Employee Handbook. Responsible for all aspects of customer service for specific territories including: Maintenance of remote consigned inventories Act as primary contact for both customers and representatives Maintenance of pricing information for territory Follow up on past due accounts Generation of various reports and logs Written and oral correspondence with customers and co-workers Perform daily tasks which include but are not limited to: Entering orders into the order entry system Frequently check and verify inventory availability Proper handling of credits, returns, billing discrepancies, shipping problems, etc. Generation of necessary shipping and invoicing forms Care of all phone requests from our customers and manufacturing reps Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • Should have experience handling a high volume of in-bound calls and have previous order entry experience.
  • Should have solid account management experience.
  • Candidates should be team oriented, customer focused and dependable while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
  • Should also be computer literate and have strong record keeping skills.
  • Minimum two years experience in a customer service position, preferably in a manufacturing organization.
