Requirements

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision and exercise good decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population of all age groups and in settings that may be less than desirable to the employee.
  • Able to organize, prioritize and function in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes while maintaining efficiency and composure.
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current operator’s license with a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge or background in home medical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs duties related to delivery, set-up, installation and/or fitting of home medical equipment (HME).
  • Ensures equipment is appropriate and safe for home use by the client/caregiver and instructs client/caregiver on use of equipment following manufacturer’s guidelines, regulatory standards, and home medical equipment policy/procedure.
  • Assures that the proper documentation is obtained from the client and paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Must demonstrate the characteristics of excellence in customer service to positively promote MercyOne to all customers.
