About The Position

The Customer Service Support Team Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the Customer Service Support Team remains responsive to customer and internal requirements in a timely manner. This position serves as a liaison between vendors, customers, and internal departments.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in customer service, customer support, or a related role, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to make sound decisions independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and with external customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Prior leadership or team lead experience with demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop employees.

Responsibilities

  • Train new employees on internal processes before transitioning them to their dedicated positions.
  • Mentor team members to elevate the skill level of the entire group.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Initiate dispute resolution and engage sales as needed using independent judgment.
  • Facilitate problem-solving within the department and support team members with complex issues.
  • Actively contribute ideas and improvements to management regarding ERP, quality, and process enhancements.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through proactive communication.
  • Participate in customer meetings and conference calls to resolve issues.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Krayden operations and other departments.
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Inventory Management to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Demonstrate ownership, urgency, and responsiveness in supporting internal sales and service-related requests.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental and company-wide standards (AS/ISO, TCP, Export Control).
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of management and departmental goals
