About The Position

This role is for a Seasonal & Regular Customer Service & Stock Associate at Nordstrom Rack. The position involves working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers, and ensuring a quick and easy shopping experience. Flexibility is essential as team members may work in different areas of the store, including maintaining cleanliness, organizing stockrooms, and assisting customers. Roles are available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment departments.

Responsibilities

Ensure the salesfloor stays "runway ready" by re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers at the cashier with various transactions across different platforms (in-store, online, mobile), operating a point-of-sale system, handling items of all sizes, including bulky and heavy boxes.
Provide a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers, and sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor.
Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies.
Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments.
Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general support to the store, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, processing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
